So, I was browsing through some pics and I noticed under the cd changer theres the "trac off" button (second)...well in my car, theres only a button. No "trac off" or anything, just a black button. As well as when I put the key in, theres no ding ding ding or anything.

I was told that my car was broken into while it was on the lot one day.

Im alittle pissed.

2004 Mustang GT premium, dont they all come with T/C.

TC and ABS is an option. I understand you can order a car without these. My 99 didn't have T/C

Have them restore everything under warranty or at their own expense.

TC comes with ABS and it was an option on the 04s.

I bought my 04 without traction control or ABS. I actually like it better in many ways for the kind of modding I am doing to the car.

Like I said in a previous post, I choose to be the one driving my car, not some dumb arse computer.

Same here, with thresh hold breaking you can stop quicker than ABS, Trac control is just lame.

it took me awhlie to find a 04 with track and ABS. i did not care for the track, but really really wanted the ABS. it has saved my butt a few times :/ it was a $730 option.

They should have had everything fixed before selling the car. Take it back and tell them to fix it under warranty

i have an 04 gt also

if the middle button is solid black, it is just a plastic black out. meaning you got robbed on the trac. control. i would definately bring it back. as far as the ding of the key insert they should fix that also. it's probably a fuse though.

Does your sticker actually show that the car came with traction control?

I liked mine so well, I had it turned off when the car was dynotuned.

traction control cannot be deleted by itself. if your car has ABS it has TC and if no ABS there is no traction control either. this was only offered in 04 to help keep the cost of the car down some for perspective buyers.

Trac control is lame? I beg to differ when it's raining and you have drag radials....

next time something runs out in front of your car, good luck with that threshold braking, I'm content to know when I slam on the breaks it's not going to skid.

The car was in the autobody for a good week. First, they put in some cheap piece of glass on the driver's side window. It would scrape when rolled up/ rolled down. So, they fixed that. Now there was a big ding that came with the car on the driver side door, so they had to remold a piece for it, took another week for them to fix that. I finally take it home about three days ago, and when I open the door it sounds like theres something loose in it thats just rolling around (like a pebble hitting the ground or something, or bouncing off something, its probably a bolt)....man...last time I ever buy from that dealership again
