:As some of you may know by now, my AOD-E to T5 swap went well but now the car vibrates above 2000 rpms. So I took it to a transmission shop my friend recommended to me. This shop is a huge shop, they have 30 lifts and had almost 100 cars on the lot that were waiting to be worked on. Anyway when I brought it in the guy talked to me and asked me a bunch of questions. He said it's probably a misbalanced flywheel or pressure plate because it can't be the trans because it still vibrates with the clutch disengaged. So we try a couple things and he's going to work on it on Monday. Before I left he shook my hand and offered me a job to work there. He said that a lot of guys have brought in their cars and screwed up the swap and he was suprised how well I did and how young I am (21). Anyway I guess I'm going to start working there, getting paid to do what I like to do, working on cars. I was never trained to work on cars, I'm actually taking a major for computer science.

Most of the people there probably arent trained either, just skilled monkeys. You will have some though doing the rebuilding. This is fairly normal for a trans shop. With the lifts and all the jacks, anybody should be able to do just fine.
