well i was going to wait until i was completely finished to make a thread, but i got bored so here's what's been going on. the car is still completely stripped. getting little things here and there done that i know i won't do if i paint the car first because i'll just want to drive it. so far i've replaced the fluid in the diff, had a bad leak. sprayed my subframe connectors with truck bed coating, replaced pads and painted my calipers red and my drums black; fixed my VSS harness as one of the wires pulled out of the connector, and replaced the speedo driven gear as well. while i had the car on the lift, i replaced the o2's also. i repaired the quarter window mouldings, they were dry rotted as usual. installed my MAC c/c plates finally, and replaced the rear brake hose. i installed some rack limiters to get rid of the rubbing at full lock...they took away 1/2 turn from lock to lock! as far as body work goes, everything is pretty much done, aside from roughing up edges and jambs. my hatch still needs some work, the deck part that the spoiler bolts up to is wavy as hell. i'm going to have to get a new one eventually. pulled the driver side door and replaced the hinges.
all i really have left to do before i prime is pull the passenger door and replace the hinges in it, roll the rear quarter lips and finish roughing up edges and jambs.
now that i'm done blabbing, here are the pics and vids (sorry, everything is really dirty/covered in filler dust):

incase you guys forgot which wheels i went with...
17x9 with 245/45/17's up front
17x10 with 275/40/17's out back
new front bumper and cobra grill insert...
cobra skirts...
rear cobra bumper, cobra side skirts under my interior quarter, wheels/tires:
new tail pipes (will probably be getting rid of for some 3" flowmaster tails)
pretty much current state of car, right before i took the hood, driver's door and hatch off...
engine shot for good measure...i'll get to this mess one of these days
i'm putting together my own powerpipe. i'm modeling it off of the afm n/a 3.5" pipe, except i'm putting my maf in the fender instead of how they did it right after that 90* bend right before the TB. i got this for $30 off ebay....3.5" mandrel bent aluminum tube, 2' long
i'm going to polish the inside
and here's a couple sound clip vids. both videos are pretty much the same thing, but i can't decide which video has better audio so i'm just posting both. i'm using a little fuji point and shoot still camera so the audio quality sucks. my car is too loud for the little mic and over powers it....it's A LOT louder in person
