believe it or not its actually pretty rare to have a GT in gold, and even rarer to have it in a convertible GT. I love the color....its definately a love/hate thing.

I give him three weeks before either he starts modding it, or he swaps the motor with his 98 for the PI stuff... God knows I would

FYI only 5,171 Sunburst Gold Mustangs were manufactured in 2000 only 20 % of those were GT's I have one of them but Wendy is in an even rarer class as, like you stated, there are very few convertibles. Had I not live in New England I would have also gotten a convertible but we don't get a long enough "convertible season" around here to justify it IMHO . Tell Wendy I wish her the best of luck with her beautiful Mustang and as I write this I've only seen, in person, 2 other Sunburst Gold GT's over the past 4 years. That's between Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire and while I spent a week down in Florida last year! I have seen 5 -10 Sunburst Gold 6 cylinder Mustangs...but on the whole our color was the third rarest for the 2000 model year. They only had Sunburst Gold Metallic available for 6 months, then replaced it with the "Spring Edition" yellow for 2000 I love having a GOLD Mustang. I'm tired of the thousands of red, blue, green, black and white Mustangs that I see everywhere. Not to mention...GOLD signifies firstplace

Well i did some quick math and i figure we are about 1 out of 150-200 stangs identically optioned like ours. Pretty rare indeed. Wendy is loving it, and she's driving stick quite well after 5 days !

Hey Ruzman, when's the next time you are gonna be down in the Revere area??

I am in the market for a shifter and was looking at the UPR shifter (because apparently it's made by Steeda). I was wondering if i could try it out by just running it through the gears while parked.

A thread on Sunburst Gold would not be right with the RUZ's praise and knowledge on the subject..

So... Dave's car now has a relative in the area
