Got the drivers drip rail on and then i noticed they are 67 68 ,not 65 66. Only difference is they are 3/4 inch longer back at the door . I just have to cut it off .

Looking good. In post #51 when you are installing the trunk divider, Are there alignment marks up top? I see that the bottom rests on the trunk floors?

Here is why you test fit before you weld any thing the trunk floor drop off is not correct at the drop off to the quarter ,i have to hold a piece of metal in place and mark it on both sides so i can get it to fit the drop off and the quarter and weld it to the drop off .

I dont run into things like this very often ,but driver side trunk drop off is wrong at the bottom ,its a pain in the butt to have to ad a sliver of metal but it has to be done . I dont know why they cut it so short !

Top of the quarters is done ,so is the panel below the back window . Tomorrow i will weld on the roof and maybe finish welding the bottom of the quarters at the rear.

The roof is done ,everything on the out side is done ,just have to weld at the bottoms of the quarters.
Passenger side gave me a bit of trouble ,the back half of the rocker has been replaced at one time and they didnt get it really straight so it didnt let me get a perfectly straight door gap ,but with a bit of door alignment it should be good to go.
I have to put in all the brackets for the interior fiberglass and back seat and all that will be left is finishing the floor

I picked up some grinding disks ,stopped by harbor freight and picked up a couple of new grinders ,always wanted one of those hand belt sanders . Also picked up a new 90* grinder ,these are made by Baxter and those two little baxters really have horse power ,way better than home depot or Lowes tools. Got most of the grinding done today and did a bit of alignment on the passenger door

Got the last two pieces of the inner door structure welded and ground the welds .
Also got the little patch in the driver side rear floor in ,tomorrow i will work on the passenger side ,it has to have a torque box top replaced so i have to cut that patch big enough to remove the top ,good thing i save these when ever i do a full floor and do not need to use them . That just leaves the front floor patches .

This is going to take a while ,the floor piece was no problem ,but the top of the torque box is welded ,brazed and held with screws . About the only thing to do is whip out the plasma cutter and blow the top off ,trimming it will not be much fun either .

I finally got the top off ,i couldnt find the spot welds because of the rust ,i finally blew it out with the plasma cutter and ground the rest away ,it took 4 disks to do it !
New torque box is welded in and i wanted to make the floor patch but the torque box wore me out .
I have been working with a cracked knee cap so getting in and out of the car has been work in its self!
