I've had a smartphone since early 2006 when the Treo 700wx (Windows 5) was released. Since then I've had like 16+ smart phones. I guess you can say I'm a phone junky. It was so back I had an iPhone4 and HTC Inspire at the same time. I'd go back and forth. I've been waiting for the iPhone5 which should come out soon. I'm growing impatient though.

Since 2005 here is a list in order.
Sanyo M1->PPC-6700->Treo 700wx->PPC-6800(Mogul)-> Motorola Q9C-> Treo 800w-> Curve->Treo 800w->Touch Pro->Treo Pro> BlackBerry Curve "M"->HTC Hero->Samsung Moment->Touch Pro WM6.5.5 ENERGY ROM->iPhone4->HTC Inspire

Looks good Adam - what all did you do to it? I just started on this thread.

I got a new harmonic balancer today along with the remover/installer tools

Removed the bolt to the old balancer, oiled up the remover bolt and stuck it on the balancer and started cranking down to pull it out - noticed it wasn't moving when I was applying like 70-80 ft-lbs of force. I figured it was just really seized on. Suddenly I the socket broke loose and I heard a pop. Thought the socket broke, but examined further and saw the threads on the remover bolt stripped.

I pulled the remover off and what came with it was the crank bolt washer *doh*. Forgot there was a washer on there... so instead of pulling off the balancer, I was pushing it on. I don't think I damaged anything, except MAYBE the washer but I doubt it. Was too dark to make sure. Well, I hope I didn't damage anything. But I figure the inward pressure I put on it was equal to or less than the inward pressure of the bolt when it's torqued down.

Fortunately after I removed the washer, it freed up enough space to bump the tool up past the stripped threads on the bolt and when I tried removing it again, it came off extremely easy.. taking like 10 ft-lbs of force or so lol.

Wonder if autozone will take this remover tool back or blame me

What kinda Jeep you got? I'm thinking about dumping my Grand Cherokee in favor of a 96-04 Wrangler and saving some cash. I really like the Sahara model with a hard top.

It's a 2000 Wrangler SE 2.5L automatic I'm repairing and selling for a friend. It's not the most desirable Jeep, but it's priced accordingly at $5500. If you are still interested I'll link send you the link to the jeepforums classified when it's all done and cleaned up.

Some beat VC's someone picked up at a swap meet... Repaired and coated. Still need to touch up a few small spots. The lettering was done in dark silver textured sparkle to match the intake. The rest was done in carbide black textured to match the Vortec+acc brackets i have already coated for this car.

Before:

First color for the letters:

Wrinkle cleans up bad areas nicely:

Its not paint, its powder. I used tape to pull the powder off of the lettering before it was baked. Very tedious.

Adam, there is tape that you can use that is oven safe. It's like a clear red and blue tape. We use it all the time and it has a high melting temp, so it's safe for powdercoating. You just mask off where you don't want the powder and bake it with the tape on. Much easier.

Polyurethane tape would be alot more work for what i did there... Id have to cut out each letter. I sprayed the first color then baked it. Then sprayed the whole thing in black powder and then used the tape to lift the powder off the letters then baked with the second color. This gives it a soft edge.

It would of took me a good 3 hours to cut each letter out in polyurethane tape...
