A quick question about the Taurus fan swap

I know there has been many threads discussing this swap but I don't know if any have addressed my question...

From what I've read, the fan swaps were usually done with the 3.6L Taurii's engines from the early 90s correct? Well I found a nice dual fan setup, with 2 speeds at a 'yard in a 96+ model Taurus that I believe had the 3.0L engine. Has anyone used these fans? Can you use these fans?

the only problem i think is going to be the amount of space you have to fit the fans. early mustang radiators are not know for their surface area, which is why the single large fan is commonly used.

Thats what I thought might be a problem. I think I'm going to head back to the junkyard tomorrow and measure the fans. Whats the length of the original radiators? I can't remember off the top of my head, 20"?
