Stroked/Turbo A4 block bored .60 Over..timebomb?
Hi, I am looking at a 1990 gt with an A4 block that has been bored .60 over. First could someone please tell me what the displacement is? I have interest in this mustang mainly because of the A4 block, it is very clean and repainted, but I have a couple concerns. I plan on running the Hellion turbo kit and stroking the motor. Is it still possible to stroke a motor that has been bored .60 over, and would it still be reliable? And also...would the stroked motor beable to withstand the t76 turbo at a fairly high boost without risk of cracking. I am looking for about 700rwhp...so will the block be ok or is there a risk of cracking it. TO my understanding an A4 block can take as much as 1600 hp but I was unsure what the reprecutions(spelling?) would be after stroking and boring. Hopefully that wasnt too confusing lol thanks a lot in advance
