ABS light

it's really not that big of a deal, it indicates your ABS system is inoperative...you may have a faulty sensor. Sometimes the sensors will become dirty for one reason or another...if the light turns on when you start your car and does not extinguish, shut the car off, let it sit for a minute or so, and restart it. If the light is always on, no matter what, you need to have your ABS system inspected, pray it's a sensor and not the ABS unit itself...that's when it gets pricey!

The sensors are about 50 bucks and easy to replace, bring it to autozone or a shop and they can scan your codes to find out if it is indeed a sensor and also which wheel is inoperative. The sensors are magnetic so they sometimes pick up fragments or metalic debris, Its a good idea to clean them off when rotating tires etc. every so often.
