I replaced both of my rear ABS sensors because they were broken in a gear swap that was done a while ago. So after the gear swap the anti-lock light was on for the entire time the rear ABS sensors were out.
Well with the new ABS sensors in, the anti-lock light is off for the first couple minutes of driving. But for those first couple of minutes, the ABS is on the entire time. So whenever I brake it brakes like I'm on ice and makes the loud ABS sound. After a minute or two, the anti-lock light comes on and it brakes normally. This happens every time I start the car.
I took it to a shop and they did a computer scan and their computer said "Drive car to erase ABS codes". Well I've been driving it for a couple days now and the problem remains.
I tried resetting the computer by disconnecting the battery for a night and it does not work.
Can anyone offer some help?
