In my quest to remove excess motor weight, I desided to drop the York for the lighter Sandon style compressor.
But the Tensioner pulley mounted to the back of the York so some figuring had to be done.
Having the first rainy day and I happened not to have to work,
I thought that it would be a good idea to mock up the new compressor before I took the engine out for its other cast weight parts removal.
This way I could see how it was going to look and possiably do a few runs to 6k on the rpms to see if the belt would stay on.
The belt would fly off using the old compressor if I pushed it past 6k without the ac on.
So I think it will work now with this setup, just need to get a 5 1/2in 5/16 bolt to slide thru the 1/2in od square tube I made to hold the tensioner bracket and weld it.
