I took my car to a family friend that owns a car repair business and had him check out my AC. I originally thought that the clutch was bad. The guy took off this plug near the top left of the engine bay. It was connected to a black cylinder thing. Okay, so he took it off and said that theres no power getting there and thats my problem.

So what do I do about it.

Should have said it in the 1st post, but I check the AC clutch/defogger switch fuse under the dash and it was fine. Is there any other fuses to check?

The plug you are speaking of is the AC cycle switch. Mine was bad too. It causes the AC to cycle on and off constantly, so the idle will jump, and the air won't blow cold. Order a new one from the dealership. I think the part was $20. Search the forums for cycle switch, I think I posted the part # a while back.

yes the level and pressure is fine. he checked that, plus it blew ice cold before it out of no where stopped working.

You can check it. There are two wires to that switch (the cycling switch)... purple and dark blue/yellow. Purple wire should have +12 when you turn the key on and have the A/C on. If you do, then the dk blue / yellow should also have +12 or the switch is bad...

If the purple doesn't have +12, the problem is between there and the A/C compressor fuse. Could be the A/C dash switch, broken wire, etc...
