I have a 2000 GT with ~150,000 miles. I decided to replace my stock fuel injectors with some Accels. I purchased the same flow rate as my stock ones (19 lbs./hr). After install, my car seemed like it had a loss of power and seemed to hesitate at times. The injectors appeared to be installed correctly. I eventually got P0171 and P0174 DTCs (Too Lean in Bank 1 and Bank 2). I re-installed the stock injectors, and my car ran normally again. Based on my experience, I would advise against the Accel injectors.
This pic shows the stock (left) and Accel (right) side by side. The o-ring to o-ring distance is the same, but the stock injector is longer.
The next pic shows the valve end of both injectors.
The stock injector valve has 4 small pin holes as opposed to the three large holes in the Accel. Maybe this combined with the longer length allows more efficient fuel delivery than the Accels.
