was looking at my twisted wedge heads i bought for my car.

it appears that the air injection manifold runs to bolt ports on the front and back of head. so the heads will work with either side. the front will be used for the accesories and the rear will either be plugged or the air tube will hook up.

i was looking at it, since i am going to plug the hole in the back. i realized the hole and threads are too big. the holes i have in mine appear to be a 5/8 coarse thread. the front accesory bolt and stud (for PS pump) are 7/16 thread. i just realized this and it makes no sense why they would be like this...

is there some sort of insert i need??

if i get a bigger bolt i would have to drill out the hole in my blower bracker and dill out both the small bracket and PS pump. PLUS find another stud exactly like the PS pump stud, probably wouldnt be easy to find one so i would have to make one.

thats out of the question.

i'll give trickflow a call. i have my stock heads laying here. i looked at them and the hole appears to be the same size as my TFS head but there is some sort of funky insert in it and has the smaller threads of the right size. its sort of like a heli coil but different lol. looks strange to me, never messed with one. i will find out tomorrow

i used those trick flow thermactor plugs to plug my smog on the stock heads they're the same as the stock ones up front which one of my power steering bracket bolts threads into im pretty sure they're what you need

i got mine from 50 resto
