It's pushing on the shaft when tight. I need to either raise the tps or grind some of the part that turns the tps off..Slot the screw holes in the TPS.
You gave me an idea. I had an extra iac gasket that fit the center of tps perfectly, so I made a gasket out of it.Post #7:

I need a new TPS and I believe I have one from Autozone. I have a 1992 5.0 The number on the TPS says #E6AF-9B989-CA It never fit tightly in the hole where the TPS connects to the Throttle body. Is this even the right one. According to 5.0 resto it is for a 86-88 mustang. So my question...stangnet.com
