yeah yeah yeah....i know what you guys are thinking. its gonna look like ass and im a ricer. well what ive been thinking is...why dont people buy the weld on cowl hoods thats just the center cowl part? they are cheaper and it would be just as much work as getting a fiberglass hood to fit and it would be safer because steel hoods dont really come unlatched. the reason im thinking about this is because its cheaper than a whole hood and i have a buddy that fabricates body panels and welds for a nascar shop. it wouldnt take any time at all to do and the hood needs painted anyways. let me know what you guys think.
come to think of it...i could get him to just make a cowl and weld it on. of course i would cut out the existing hood and put the cowl piece in from the underside and weld it in and smooth out all the welds so it looks like one piece.
