since we have an in-house upholsty shop at work, i had them add some interior show pieces. they made me a new shifter boot and recovered the console lid. they used carbon fiber vinyl with french seams for both pieces. they also added some padding to the console lid. it is much more comfortable now.

for me? cost of materials :D retail cost would depend. one off pieces are time consuming. if there were a demand for many of the same pieces, prices would go down. you know how it works. also, material choice would have a huge factor in the price.

once the patterns are made, it is really a pretty easy job. i could do this at home if i had sewing skills, but i dont. :(

wow i like that alot, can they do mine too?

it can be arranged. since the rules state that we cant talk about selling things in the discussion forums, anyone interested please PM me and i tell you who did mine.

any good upholstry shop should be able to make these for you.

nope, i just did these, becasue they are easily removable parts. i have not had the door panel off to see how the armrest is attatched. if it screws on, then it could be recovered.
