Adequate cooling for Transmission?

I have a C4 transmission with a 3000-3500 stall converter.

I have 3/8"ID flexible line from my trans to a B&M heavy duty transcooler. I was wondering if i purchase a new aluminum radiator, should I try and find one with a trans cooler and run both coolers or will my heavy duty B&M one be sufficient? Is there an additive to make your trans run cooler?

I have an FMX with a 2400-2600 stall and a B&M Super Cooler with -6 (11/32 ID) line. After multiple 1/4 mile runs in hot weather mine does not go over 165 degrees. I'm sure you are fine with what you have. I've been told 250 degrees is when it gets too hot.

I put an external tranny cooler on a Camaro after I had the tranny repaired. The trans shop said if you run the trans cooler line through the stock radiator, and the engine overheats for any length of time, your tranny could be toast in a few minutes which probably relates to what 1969mach1351 mentioned.
