adhesive to glue pedals

OK sounds stupid but my brake pedal (rubber portion) keeps falling off the pedal. What kind of glue has worked for you guys? I thought about pvc cement or gorilla glue. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I would just try some like RTV silicone, or maybe even spray adhesive, I'd want something I could remove later on down the road when it wears out and something you can clean up.

You could always use windshield urethane, it may never come off again

"contact cement" is probably what you're looking for.
