Adjustable clutch cable for 2.3 and SVO Q's.

I want to get an aluminum quadrant and firewall adjuster to use on a non adjustable clutch cable. I priced a stock clutch cable at a local parts store for my 93 2.3L coupe and it was $70. I then saw a clutch cable for an 86 SVO for $30 on ebay. Are they the same cable?

If so could I buy that cable then use a firewall adjuster and dual position aluminum quadrant in my 93?

I don't know if they're the same cable or not.

Look up a clutch cable for both cars on advance auto part's website and see if the part numbers match.

The quadrant and firewall adjuster should work since they're the same on all cable clutch Mustangs, I think.

I did the same thing and the part numbers on advances website matched up

I think I paid $30'ish for mine at Advance Auto.

I think I paid about $30 for a cable for an '89GT several years ago. Keep in mind that the SVOs have two cables; the main one and another little short one for the linkage on the trans.

I bought a quadrant/adjuster/cable kit off of ebay....and all the cable has is a threaded end, so im gonna have to buy a clevis and pin to attach it to the bellcrank on the bellhousing.
