I just got everything for my engine. I am taking it to the builder next week. My question is should I advace my x cam 4 degrees to drop the RPM range down? I don't want to run out of RPM on my stock rev limiter. I hope this makes sense. I would like some suggestions before I ask my engine builder for some. So I have some ideas on what he is talking about. I know my intake's RPM range is 1500-6500 and the X cam RPM range is to 6500. What is the stock rev limiter at? Just want some ideas.

I advanced my TFS #1 2*, and wish I hadn't. I'd put it in straight up.

You could advance it a little to give you a tad more bottom end, but the difference will be minimal. Just make sure to re-check your piston to valve clearance afterwards. I’m not sure what the clearance is for that cam and your Edelbrock heads?

If the differnece is minimal than I will get it installed staight up. I am going to check piston to valve clearance but I should be fine I have Probe pistons and they are notched fairly well.

6250 is the stock rpm limit built into the factory computer.

I'd put it in straight up, but with a degree wheel, not just lining up the marker dots.

Is the X cam close to or the same as the B cam except it has more lift? I think I read that in a thread. If it is similuar I read that advancing the B cam is recommended. Or am I completely off.
