advice needed about future mods

i have an 02 GT with Steeda pully's, K&N intake, o/r x-pipe, flowmasters,
tri-ax shifter, predator tuner, tinted windows, billit gas cap. i have $1,600 to spend, but i dont kno what to do with it. i was cinsidering lowering my car, but i dont want to have to go over speed bumps sideways. what would you do? i might be getting a cobra engine, but i will not be unsing the $1,600 to help purchase it. thank you for your time.

I have an 02 GT too. Here's what I would get:

$200 - 4.10 gears
$400 - 70mm t/b and plenum
$200 - Steeda sport springs (only lowers 1 1/4" so shouldn't be a problem)

I also really like my Mach 1 grill delete and chin spoiler. It really looks sharp. Do you have the factory rims? What color is your car? Maybe some deep dish bullit rims. I don't know if your going for performance or looks or both.
How do you like the look of your bullit gas cap? It's on my wish list.

Ouch! Where are you shopping?

I'd also recommend a 75 vs. the 70 tb as there's no downside and the 70 will limit you eventually if you plan more mods.

4.10 gears, t/b, plenum, predator, spend the rest on some preventative maintenance like changing diff fluid, brake fluid, tranny fluid...

$125 for a custom tune from Runnin' With The Devil. You tell him your mods and wants. He emails you a custom tune. You load it into your Predator then into your car. The difference is amazing. I'll have dyno numbers soon but I managed to shave off .2 secs off my 1/8 mile ET.

250 or so left to about $0 after all taxes.

But man it would run....thats granted you did it all yourself.You would also need a dyno tune, so either A. drive it for a while and save for the tune ($350) or B. ditch the wheels and just buy some 275 nitto DRs for your stock 17x8 wheels. Your gonna need some traction.

i was thinking about gears for a while, but i dont want to be doing 80mph and taching almost 3k. i raced an 02gt with alomst as many mods as me, but he had 3:73's and i smoked him 3 times. i had probably 3 car lengths on him by the end of 2nd gear! my car is silver, with is the factory rims (dark grey bullit's) i was also thinking cams, but i dont want my fuel milage to go to the dump, and i will also need to pass smog. i heard that if i get cams, i will never pass smog. why is it that no one mentioned headers? i also heard that the tb/plenum wasnt worth the money, unless i was going forced induction . thanks you all for your help

P.S. the gas cap i have is the silver rim, with a black door with GT inscrobed on it. i think it looks great, and i get compliments on it every time people see my car. plus it gave me 25 hp!
