Advise for system with stripped interior?

So I'm going to running a stripped interior as this is going to be a track car (86 Coupe), however it will be driven to and from the track and I need some tunes along the way.
I will be using heat/sound barrier on the firewall, roof, and maybe Dynomat inside the doors, but thats it. The trunk area will not be closed in with the rear seat or rear deck cover. I know this is not even close to being a good environment for the stereo, but its what I got.
I have CDT 6 1/2 components, 2 8" CDT subs and a Kenwood amp and deck. Since the interior is gone I can mount the speakers just about anywhere.
What would be the best placement for the 6 3/4 and tweeters. Also since the truck area is open (like a hatchback) which direction is best for the subs to face?
Here is the stuff (I probably wont use the small amp and other speakers).

Before going into anything else, I have to ask why would you put dynamat, subs, and full stereo in a car without an interior? All that stuff easily weighs more then the interior would. I would think if you want to keep it light for the best track times, but need a stereo go with a set of 6 1/2's in the doors and run them off the head unit.

Seems like extra effort to remove the subs and amp at the track. I usually take that kind of stuff out before I go, less to worry about when I'm there.

To answer your question, face them rearward.

Seem odd that you'd strip the interior to save maybe 200lbs and then add 200lbs if not MORE in Audio just to drive to the track. Boxes and subs are HEAVY!!!

If you are not showing the car, why dynomat, its a race car, let it rattle a little...who cares.

If just want some tunes for the drive to the strip, add a head unit to power the speakers with the separates up front, maybe some 5x7 or 6x9 in rear deck and a SMALL bass tube. They make self powered bass tubes that would work well here. That might 40lbs. But would sound pretty decent.

Also add a complete system kill switch so you can turn the whole system off when racing, let your car get all the battery power it can for so you get the strongest ignition possible.
