I just purchased a 95 Mustang GT. It already has full exhaust and intake including the Performer intake. I want to know if the AFR 185 heads are to big for a daily driven car. I know you have to have the pistons flycut for clearance so I will take it to a machineshop to do that and bore it over so it will be a 306 cid. Let me know what you guys think.

It depends on the cam/ intake and gears you plan to run. But on a mild street motor, you would get better low end response from a smaller head.

PERFORMANCE
Complete WMS HighVelocity Intake System w/95mm MAF
JBA Headers
Bassani Xpipe
Magnaflow Catback
Steeda Underdrive Pullies
Steeda Shifter

THE NUMBERS
332 RWHP
330 RWT

So what else is done to it to get those numbers? What heads are on it now?

EDIT: That must be on your cobra, my bad. Even then, your getting those numbers with a 01 Cobra with just full exaust, MAF, and CIA, and UD pullies. Pretty impressive.

i say if stroking is in your future then yes the 185's wil be a nice set of heads. However if you dont plan on building a 331 or 347 then get the 165's.
