Alright well my 347 short block was just finished at the machine shop. I got a custom cam from FTI, probe forged pistons, scat forged I-beams, scat nodular crank, all in an 88 block. My builder offered me a price of $1650 for the AFR 205's because I told him that summit was selling the CNC'd Twisted Wedges with 205cc intake runners for a little less than $2000. Is there any advantage to either? Also, is that a good price for AFR's?

ha, same thing i posted on corral. Thats the whole point of running a custom cam...to get the Pro's advice...not ours. Althought im sure some guys here know their stuff....but most arent qualified enough to make that decision. Including myself.

I still wonder what pistons u have...since the 2 different heads require different reliefs.

I would ask Ed as well.

Aren't the TFS 205's CNC'd also?

Yeah they are.

Dollar for dollar, the AFR's are going to outrun those TFS heads.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the AFR heads outrun the TFS, either....
