After Market fuel rails with Stock fuel lines

Hello,

I have the Aeromotive fuel rails 14101 and im trying to piece together some fittings to hook up to my stock lines- ive searched threads and cant seem to find any info on part numbers and or kits as nobody seems to sell them...

anybody who has done this would you mind sharing part numbers?

So you will need to build a crossover line which can be done with NPT to 6AN hose fittings and some hose. To adapt from the after market fuel injector rails to the stock lines I would remove the chrome hard lines from the stock fuel rails down to the lines. These are what I am talking about:

You will need these adapters to go from the stock lines to 6AN (other companies make them as well):

Really from here it depends on which regulator you are going to use and where you are going to mount it as to how you plumb the rest of it up.

im confused if i remove those lines how will the lines reach the rail? also arent the fittings you provided male? if im not mistaken the factory rail has a female end?

You will need to make hoses to finish.
Is there a particular reason you are doing this?

thanks for the reply... so if I make new hoses ill need more fittings wouldnt i? any way you can give a detailed list and set up? im a bit confused.
i am putting in a new 347 will plan to do the lines when a go forced induction but will be a NA for now.

Before we go much further, what exactly is your setup now and what is it going to be?
Fuel system setups are expensive and if you aren't using a 4 bolt main block (boss, dart, R etc) there is no point in getting involved with a fuel system at all.
The stock system will support 500+rwhp, which is more than stock block.
If you are using a race block, do the fuel system all at once when you switch to the supercharger.
Right now you are just adding complexity that isn't necessary.
All it will take later is removing the upper intake.

Fuel systems are built like erector sets, pick a size, type of hose and matching fittings.
I'd guess most guys run 8an to the engine and 6an back to the tank.

And while I don't have stock fuel rails anymore to compare, that regulator looks like it goes on factory rails, not aftermarket to me.

This is all a road you don't want to and shouldn't go down until it's absolutely necessary.

Thanks for the honest reply-- I am still running a stock block... I think your right Ill hold off and run the rails once im ready... i got a really good deal on them andI guess i wanted to throw them on now but your right im going down an expensive rabbit hole when i dont need to...thanks for this, ... ill stick the rails on the shelf for now.

Good choice.
Look, when it comes to deals, a deal is only a deal if you can use it or flip it for significantly more money.
I wouldn't even put them on a shelf, i'd just sell them on ebay or somewhere else and put the money towards something you do need.
