Aftercooled Supercharger Kit

Alright im starting to line up everything to finish my engine and want to know what kit are out there that have an air-to-air aftercooler included or what would be required from the kits the do not have one, From what i can see the novi 2000 and the Si-trim do not have have an air-to-air setup, Procharger offers kits with an A2A after cooler but i have heard questionable things about Procharger's products and their customer service, can you guys gives any insight to certain centri kits i could run on my vehicle i dont mind fabing something as long as it doesnt require mass amounts of machining

If you want a front mount just get a ebay one, and some alum tubing from ebay also. You'll be able to make it up pretty easy. Low level prochargers are junk imo. They don't seem to perform that well and fail fairly often. Paxton and the vortechs are nice units. That aftercooler thing just seems like a pain in the ass. If it helps I rigged up my intercooler setup from ebay stuff and it works fine.

i wasnt sure if each company offered their own brand of aftercooler in an all in one kit, i have no issue using the ebay kits and ive had good experiences before, i know procharger has kits with an after cooler but i wasnt sure if the latter offered them as well,
as fas as deciding between the Si-trim and the Novi2000 what would you guys choose?

Depends, the Novi 2000 is a pretty serious blower. Flows about 400 cfm more then a SI. Is this a aftermarket block setup it would be going on? If not go with the vortech. The Novi would be over kill. Seems like the vortech replaced the good ol S trim. I never had a problem with mine, it was a lot of fun.

SBF F1R procharger

Get in contact with this guy. Thats a great deal, and you can clock a procharger any way you want so an intercooler will be easy. just run straight down bend around the rad support, through the IC, out to the pass side and into the TB, will be a nice smooth way for the air to get to the TB

Ive never heard one bad thing about procharger, I would never use one of thier intercoolers, but thier head units are great, the newer F-series chargers also have a 5.4:1 step ratio which gets them into boost quicker. An f-1r will get you to your power goal with low boost leves, thats the route i would go. I had a novi 2000, they are BAMFers, but in my opinion anything over 600 hp, a big procharger is the way to go

Yep I agree the F series is the way to go but whats the rest of the engine look like?

Dart Iron eagle block 8.2" deck
probe dominator 347 stroker
billet flywheel
gear drive
mechanical roller cam setup
linked lifters
heads to be decided (trick flow if they will make them in a 74cc combustion chamber)
trickflow BoxR intake
longtubes
engine is more than sufficiently setup for 750+ HP
gonna be spinning to around 7k

I don't mean to nit-pick.

But this is an aftercooler.

if you wanna get really technical and bitchpicky about it all intercoolers are are really aftercoolers, because they all cool air after it exits the compressor side. The term intercooler is just what stuck in the auto industry.

I've said this in your threads before, i dont care what blower you put on this motor, its gonna be lazy down low, centrifugal chargers are dogs when the motor is below 4000 rpms. Plain and simple, and if your on a road course and you think at any point that the motor is gonna be under 3500 rpms, then you should do one of two things.

1. Learn how to choose the correct gear.
2. Move to the side, cause i think my grandfather is flashing to pass.

You wont be dissapointed with an F1r, i think the F2 is a little much, and acutally i just had a thought, the F1c might be an even better choice, its a little more tame than the F1r, but can still make 1000 to the tires easy

Pay attention to the step ratios on the blowers, the reason the F series work well and boost comes up quick is the 5.4:1 step ratio on the internal gearing.

alright well maybe you need to help me with gearing slection as well, i've settled for 3.73's with the impending T-56V that it gonna be installed with the .50 final drive ration, im under the impression the would be the best combo, any thoughts?
