I bought some dual halo/projectors from blue oval industries and they suck! I can hardly see at night.
The main problem is that the bottom mount/adjuster nearest the fender on each side is not adjustable on these light, which severly limits the adjustablity, so mine are pointing too far down (and they are adjusted as far up as possible)

I think I'm gonna try to find my stock adjusters and put them on the aftermarket lights. maybe that'll work. Anyone have these problems/how'd you fix it?

Also, what kind of brighter light bulb can I run? It's got a 9006 bulb right now in the low beam. I'm not sure what the highs are.

I've been thinking about putting HID's in if I can get them adjusted. Does anyone know if that's possible? I've been told it'll melt the housing, yet StangMods sells a kit for the projector lights.

It just pisses me off that I paid good money for these and they suck so bad! Any help would be great. Thanks guys.

not to be a jerk but if you woulda searched you prob woulda found a general concensus*? agreeing with your statement.
i believe theres a little adjustment to where the actual bulb fits in the housing of the light too you can mess with some.
adjustment wise you might just take the adjusters off and try usign nuts and washers to adjust them... allowing you to push the bottom out and then top in...but then i'm pretty sure your brights will point to the sky.
i think the brights are about dead on when the dims point straight to the pavement.... that's just from what i remember

I have some of their more standard headlights (cobra smoked) and they are great after 2-3 years. Still look brand new. I did some research at the time (and even since) and have found that it seems most people are very disappointed with Projectors for all kinds of reasons.

Your suggestions sound worth trying. Unless you just gotta have projectors, the cobra clear and cobra ultra clear should be much better than stock and still look great.

I'm just waiting for the day i have the extra cash on hand to order some of the cobras. i've had my proj's for 3 -4 yrs now and i hated them as soon as i put them on for the same probs.... if i had the situation to do over i would have got a factory frm the junkyard and saved my money for cobras later still or none at all and spend it on the motor!

+1 NEVER AGAIN!

Yeah, we'll see. I'm gonna call BLUE OVAL INDUSTRIES tomorrow and see what they say. It's been 2 months since I bought them, but maybe if I complain enough I can get some new lights...

Yeah, I love the look, so I'm looking into an HID kit for them. Anybody ever done this? I've heard it'll melt the housings, but they make kits for them...
