Aftermarket shifters for 6-speed

Any thoughts on aftermarket shifters for the 2011/12 6-speed manual? I'm looking at buying one soon, I've always been a fan of Hurst, but there are others of course, like Steeda and Barton. Anyone got suggestions or thoughts? How's yours working for you? Thanks!

I run a Barton shifter with their bracket, Im very happy with it overall, but for what you get the newly realeased MGW shifter is hard to beat. look into it

I looked at the Barton, it seems ok, not sure if I want that short of a shift. I'm looking hard at the bracket though, I like it way more than the stock bracket.

the bracket imo makes more a difference than the shifter, the stock shifter itself isnt that bad, the bracket is the major issue

You need to seriously look into the MGW shifter. They went above and beyond when they designed it. I will be purchasing one in a month or so. It is spendy in comparason to others but, I think it will be more than worth it...

I dont think it is expensive, I heard it was around $375, I paid $350 for my Barton shifter/bracket combo so Id say the MGW is a bargain

Short shift

The Hurst fitted to my 2011 6 speed GT is nowhere as precise as the one fitted to my 2010 5 speed GT. I am just not convinced by the feel.
