i just put and off-road x pipe on my 02 GT, and it sounds like there is a major leak. the kit didnt come with any gaskets, but when i removed my stock midpipe i noticed that there were none on there either. but on the passenger side connection, it wasnt a ball and flange, it is a flat connection with a short extension, or lip, comming up. on the x-pipe there is no extension/lip, and it sounds like the leak is comming from there. does anyone kno what i can do to fix this? i am guessing i have to use a gasket, so information on where to get one would help. thanks

When you remove the stock mid-pipe the passenger side gasket will usually stay attached to the studs up on the header. Make sure you have removed the old one, before putting the new one on the pipe.

replace the studs with ones from napa that dont have a shank on them , the factory ones have a shank that keeps you from tightening the aftermarket pipes up good ....

Do this on the driver's side for sure. Probably wouldn't hurt to replace the ones on the passenger side either.
