ahhh SOB

dang I would have sent you one of those too lol. Why not upgrade while you were in there? They aren't that much
'

get it painted before up grades is more important this time around...take all of 10 mins to drop the tank and get the fuel pump out...ill put a bigger one in there when i the car needs it...

idk i just want this to run better.......although...where i have the timing set now makes it sound like it has a nasty cam in it...lol i think i related it to much  or did i advance it

Ideas off the top of my head:

- Defective fuel pump (how many PSI are you getting at the rails @ idle?)
- Vacuum leak (check alllllllll of your vacuum lines, listen for hissing, double-check all those stupid hard plastic lines that tend to get brittle and crack)
- Check your TPS voltage
- Bad fuel pressure regulator
- Check for exhaust leaks ahead of the o2 sensors (mine started running really weird when my passenger-side downpipe worked itself loose at the header flange)
- Bad injector(s)
- Faulty pickup coil
- Valve(s) not fully closing? (Broken/weak valve spring(s)?)

no idea how many PSI im getting...dont have a gague....

how do i test the TPS voltage?
fuel pressure regulator?

also...none of the my gague lights work? so i dont know if the check engine light is on? could a fuse cause the whole gauge cluster not to light up?

i sure as hell hope not if so theres going to be one pissed of old man at my house :bang:

basic tuneup? plugs, cap, rotor, wires? O2 sensors? You really need to set the timing. If it sounds like a lumpy cam, you are pretty car off.The car is old, check all the vac hoses also. Even though it doesnt have a check engine light, it can still have codes to let you know whats going on. The procedure is in the tech section.

yeah...only thing i havent done is coil, dis, and O2 sensors

ryan. seriously, if you need a timing light i have mine right here. i can bring it over, we can check your timing and be done with that. i dont think you shouldve been messing with it without a light.

i also have a cheapo actron scanner that'll pull your codes for you.

LMK i'm over near the osu campus.
