i just got an autometer airfuel ratio gauge and i got the power and ground hooked up but i cant find the right wire to tap the purple(violet) wire into. both 02 sensors have 2 white wires and a black, i figured the blacks were heater ground and one white was heater power and the white wire is the signal wire which is what i need to tap into. I noticed both black wires from the o2 sensors go into black wires when they plug into the harness, one white wire each goes to a brown and the other white wire goes to a blue wire for one side and the other side is green. The directions say hook it up after the connection which i did,(this is all on the top of the car by the WOT relay) ive tried every wire (brown, black , blue, green) theres only one wire left (orange) and that is the oil level idiot sensor. Im sure you guys have done this before, can someone help me out b/c it looks gay with it just saying rich all the time. Thanks

i know this thread is old as snot but i wanted to touch on somthing here incase somone ran across this doing a search for installing an a/f gauge. its possible that the wire colors change from early fox model years to later fox model years. my #43 ECU wire was red with a black tracer on both my 92 & 93 GT's. just didnt want anyone probing or tapping into the incorrect wire.......hope this helps anyone doing a search!
