Hi guys does any one have a Auto Meter Air/Fuel Ultra Lite gauges installed. I'm wondering if it's normal or if it has to do with the H pipe. My gauge reads too rich at idle and leen at 3000 RPM'S at high speed. It does't stay steady.

If its anything like the sport comp A/F gauge then all it realy is while moving is a light show. How old are your O2s? Do you have it set up so you can switch between the left and right O2 sensor? I ask because thats the way I wired mine so I can compare the banks.

All you will see when running an AFR gauge from a narrow band sensor is it swithing between rich and lean. That's all that a narrow band sensor is able to indicate.

I do not know how old the 02's are. Yes, they are the sport comp. I got this car last year, so I am not sure of their age. If you tell me how to wire them both I would appreciate your help.

Yeah...a light show, that's it.

Get a wideband if you want to monitor Air/Fuel. Otherwise, pretty pointless.

And no worries - a LOT of widebands allow you to wire analog or digital output to a standard air/fuel gauge, so you may be able to keep your present gauge.

I used a switch with 2 on positions, it had three prongs on the bottom. The gauge signal wire goes in the center prong, left O2 goes to one of the outside prongs, and the right O2 also goes to an outside prong.

Heres a pic of mine, you can see the red switch In the gauge pod. I have it wired so down is the left bank and up is the right bank. Its pretty usefull, I found out my left bank O2 was dead after I installed the gauge.

I like the custom dash...and the Kroger Plus card, lol.

EDIT: The new O2's were cheap enough that I just bought replacement ones a while back since I knew the ones on there had seen WAY too many miles.
