picked up the solenoids i need (thermactor bypass and diverter) at the junkyard today, but they were off a 93, and the electrical connections are different. i also clipped off the connectors to splice onto mine, checked the resistance and they're in spec, just double checkin to see if anyone knows if they wont work on my 87, im gonna need to pass smog in a few days and just makin sure i pass the first time (not a whole lot of extra $$ to spend on failed attempts)

I converted my wife's 87 as well for the exact same reason. Did it @ 5 months ago with no issues since then.

Not sure where you are but here in PA, you get 1 free retest after a failed emissions test. I know, I just failed the first one!

I'm getting the same codes as you probably got. 81/33. Did you follow the testing down to the 2nd valve off the air pump? did it work properly switching between the head tube and the cats tube? That's my next test since my diverter solenoids seem to be getting voltage and ground...
