Im sure this has been asked a million times...I have a 93 mustang GT and i have no cats on it..I hear this ticking noise in the exhaust when under a load at lows speeds like pulling away next to cars or a concrete divider..Its annoying even with the new cat back which is pretty loud my friggn ears pick up that ticking noise...Im wondering if its the air being pumped into a thinner walled H-pipe menaing it has no cats and it is a thinner metal compared to the stock piping...Is there a way to element the air pump by running a shorter bell and just by-passing the air pump?....I really dont feel like spending money on the elemenation pulley i know i would have to by a belt but i need a new one anyways...I have stock manifolds still on the car and it goes into i think its a BBK off road H-pipe in the new american thunder cat back...I felt all the seems while running i didnt feel any exhaust leaks even on the coldest day i see no condensation running out of the joints so im think the air being pumped into the exhaust is causing that ticking noise...any help would be great thanks.....
