Ive been an installer for many years and cant speak for "lesser" systems but Viper, DEI (smae thing), Clifford, Ungo, Alpine and higher end Audiovox systems will not IF they are installed properly. Bad install on anything electrical will screw up a car. Foxes dont have PATS or sequential locks or a factory alarm so there is nothing to interfear. Remote start and starter disable will really hurt the car if you dont know what you r doing.

Let me make a couple suggestions. Get any DEI brand alarm or an Alpine (if you can find one) and opt for the two way paging system with the good remote. I have seen it so many times where someone always says they wish they woulda got the better system. Its not that it works any better its just nice to have a page function and alot of channels for upgrades down the road. Installation is the expensive part, not the box. We charged $75 for basic, 45 for starter disable, 45 for door locks (+ actuators if none stock), 45 for trunk pop, 200 for starter and 45 for all extra acc.
Dont get a radar system unless you have a vert or a truck cause tjey always give false alarms. If you have a stick dont get remote start cause I have seen a couple cars run into other one cause they forgot it was in gear ( usuall the first time they show it off) Just get 2-stage shock with glass breakage and POI switches with starter disable, power locks and trunk pop and your golden prolly run $400 installed for a two way system.

DEI all the way, Viper, Hornet, umm Panther, they all have some sort of name that could hurt you. I have had them on every car and never had a problem. dont get remote start unless you have an auto, its just dumb you dont want any problems with you car strating and jumping forward, just imagine if there was a kid infront of your car and something happend you would never forgive yourself, niether would the police
