Project "The New 4.Sick"

Vehicle: 1988 Ford F-150

Info & Why?: Truck bought new by my Grandfather in 1987, Has been in family and passed down to me since my Father has a Mental Disibility. Truck has been Work/Farm Truck by my Grandfather since 1987. The reason behind this is Truck really means alot to me and my Grandfather is still alive but i really had a urge to do this so i am..... going to be a blast and cant wait to started here in about 2 weeks or so. I am looking to put a carbed 4.6 2v with a hit of spray (For you guys that know me thats going to be obivious lol) which I have in my garge. I will start a Progress thread later but wanted to get this out here and see what everyone thinks of the project. I have had 4 or 5 stangs and wanted something different but with my heart still in a stang i thought what the heck, and Project like this will be awesome. Below is what it should look like give or take when its done.

sounds great my new friend. Get us some pics. My dad had an 83 F250 with a 460 big block in it. It was a 4x4 too. I wish I woulda kept it

Thanks Mazen, i know it is different and to me thats what makes it cool. I have just hope to have the support of my friends here at Stangnet as this is going to be fun. I havent got to do a frame off build so that will be something differnet i think, as i will have more room to work. Thanks and will keep you'll posted.

would there possibly be money in the project for one of them 400+hp new 5.0 motors, that would definilty be one of kind.

lol, i wish. The money is possibly there but i really havent decided on what to do in that department, I have a 04 4.6 block in excellent shape in my garage but not sure of what varation to go with. I could always stay 2v go 4v or more so i really am pondering that situation right now. I will prob have to cross that bridge when i get there, right now i am going to take the cab and bed off and convert from 4wd to 2wd (I have a doner 2wd front end). Then i am going to work on the frame and brace it some, also going to install Engine/Trans in frame then lower cab and bed back on the get the body work done. The one thing i love about this is, i can get suspension, engine, trans & everything done without the cab or bed on the truck, that is the greatness of having a frame lol.

P.S - I have a wiring harness also so Fuel Injectio/Forced induction is NOT out of the question.

thanks i am plum tickled. I love the paint myself its 60'ish chevelle cream. With a set of Black/Chrome Bullets I have and some coilovers she should look sweet!!
