Wondering what combos seem to be working best for naturally aspriated Stangs. Also if you have the dyno numbers (rwhp and rwtq ), and your 1/4 mile times, that would be awesome. Do you recommend your current setup? Thanks in advance for all the help!!

Put on P&P PI heads, cams, intake, full exhaust, gear, and all the other little basic bolt ons. Makes 290 to the wheels. Runs 12.9 in the quarter. Would I recommend? Depends on what you want from your car.

He has a 2003 there is no PI heads for a 2003 GT thats only for 96-98. Definetely go 4.10 gears for your next mod. Then I would go with some O/R pipe for your next mod.

What do you mean, he can still get his heads ported and polished. If you are really determined to stay all motor, it is going to cost you money. Fox Lake sells a kit with heads and I believe you can get their new intake manifold and some other stuff and it will put you way up there for naturally aspirated power. Good luck with whatever you choose, do a search, find out what you want to spend, and how fast you wanna go.

Where do you think PI heads come from?

Yea he can still get them ported and polished but he cant get PI heads. I guess you could call port and polished heads PI heads since PI means performance improvement but generally when people say PI heads they mean the Romeo heads off an 01 GT for the 96-98's.

Ermm... no.

PI does mean performance improved, yes. But these PI heads come on all 99-04 GTs, not just 01's. So the heads on his 03 are already PI heads. If he ported and polished them, they'd still be PI heads, but P&P PI heads. Also, based on what you said, he wouldn't be able to put 01 Romeo heads on his 03 because...?

I have no dyno numbers, but check the sig. You'll find that there are many combinations that will get you good 1/4 mi. times. It all depends on what you want from your car.

I was just using 01 as an example. Yes I know the heads on his 03 are already PI heads but rarely anybody refers to them as PI heads, only time generally you talk about PI heads is when you have them on a 96-98. Why would he want to put 01 Romeo heads on his 03?
