I have a question. The first pick, why did you put the Line Lock in the wheel well? Did the mounting instruction tell you to put it there?

Yes, the PMP/Jegs kit bolts in right at the hard line in the wheel well. Very simple installation and doesn't affect the ABS system.

The reason I ask is, in my opinion that doesnt seem to be a safe place to put it. If you have ever had a tire shread and I have, that would put it in the line of fire from the tire.

If you have a forward rotating tire blow out and take out that line lock solenoid, you are having far more problems than solenoid damage. It's in the same location as the original stock rubber brake lines passage. So if this solenoid were taken out via tire failure, then if it were stock so would have been the brake line anyway, so it's a moot point.

Right. Not to mention the fact that the solenoid is very solid. You're not in any more danger than if you didn't have the line locks there. Change the soft line out for a braided line, and you'll be even more safe. I hope to get that done before fall.

If all else fails, that's what the eBrake is for. That's why, even with an auto, you should park with the eBrake on every once in a while, to keep it from seizing, in case you one day need to use it.
