:notnice:
So Friday I had my heart set on this new car...I found a 2006 FX4 baja edition F150 with 27000 miles on it, sooo I got the baby all cleaned up, reinstalled the interior pieces....and removed the nitrous. SO on the way to the dealership, I had 7 people stop and tell me my car looked great (18 mile drive). Even had a guy in a vette say he didnt like stangs much at all but for some reason mine looked clean...SO I took that as an omen.. turned around went home ... and roasted em..... How could I have almost traded her in... I guess what IM getting at.. anyone else almost get rid of there stang..??

ya im at around 10 grand and I still have cams, headers, and some rear diff, stuff sitting in my garage, just dont have the money for the install... =(
My suspension set up and brakes broke the bank...
MM grip in a box 4800
Brembos 3800 and change

i traded a stang for a stang, then a stang for a truck. it hurt each time.

i miss the truck i traded in for the stang i have now, but i guess thats because the car/truck i usually pick to buy, i love, and then get more attached to as the years go by.

and dont think just because you dont have a stang, you wont sink all your money into whatever else you have. its a desire (id think to most of the type of people on auto forums like this) to make whatever we own unique/fast/ours.

i sunk $9,000 in my truck in 3 years to set it up fast and unique looking before i traded it in. now, some dude that didnt drop a single bead of sweat working on it gets to flash off that truck, probably for half what i paid, and all aftermarket parts that i left on there, came to him for free.

its a sickness, i swear.

I have had to sell two Stangs already, to get another stang. Each time it has been very hard, but I am always stepping up to a better car so it doesnt hurt that bad once they are out of my sight.... I think going from a 96 GT auto, to a 97 Cobra, then to an 03 Mach 1 is movement in the right direction..... Dont sell your stang Justin!!!!

I will never be stangless though, NEVER,EVER!!!!!!!!

Thanks Dustin, im looking a mach in the next few months, IM trying to find the perfect one...,Ive got 21 grand to play with for a new car, Ya I figured Ive had a stang since I could drive, went from 88 5.0 to 96 cobra to 98 gt to 03 gt....Soooo... I have to keep the tradition going..!

ya... I realzied that when you own a mustang NO MATTER WHAT year, your kinda a part of something. Everytime I see another stang owner its like an unspoken brotherhood kinda thing....It just nice to be able to roll into a parkinglot somewere, anywere and you can pull next to another stang and no matter what your differnces are before you meet, right off the bat, youve got kudos for owning a piece of history !
