I've had a Bassani cat-back on my '03 GT for the better part of 10 years now. In the last 5 years or so, at least one of the mufflers has developed an internal vibration as if some of the baffling inside has come loose or something. It makes an annoying vibrating rattle when I accelerate and go over rough patches. I had crawled under the car at one point to better identify the noise as I initially thought it was the cats, but definitely found it to be coming from the mufflers.
I've found new mufflers to run around $300 each. If I get two, that's around $600 which is just shy of a whole new system.
Are there any places that I can get the mufflers for cheaper? I wouldn't be opposed to used as long as they're in decent shape and don't rattle. I don't want to give up the great rumble these Bassanis produce...to me, it's just right.
