I'm trying to install a 200 amp 3g alternator in my 90 GT mustang. I'v read a few of the diffrent guides from the internet, but I'm confused about the fuselink holder they refer to. I dont know what kind or where to get from and for that matter where it goes in the installation. please help.

I just installed this in my car, I got the fuse and holder from PA Performance, it goes inline from the alternator to the starter solinoid.

btw, did you ground your alternator to anything? The directions talk about a ground wire, but the case is connected to the mounting bracket, which is connected to the block. I don't see a need for another ground wire.

Auto stereo shops will have the fuse & fuseholder. It will probably be more expensive than partsexpress ( http://www.partsexpress.com ) or some of the electronic surplus shops. I used a fuseholder with one gold bolt on each end and it used a bolt in fuse. The fuseholder was plastic with a clear plastic cover.

See http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=263-630 for some ideas

PA Performance has a wiring kit with the cable, connectors, and the fuse holder. You can also get all the parts separately from them.
