My '06 has the "Premium" aluminum dash panels and I hate them.
I've searched for hours for plain black panels, covers, inserts, vinyl overlay, etc and I've only found wood, fake and real carbon fiber... I've even found BLUE, RED and YELLOW
So.... If anyone out there wants to swap their black panels for my "Premium" panels, let me know and I will do my damndest to get them out of my car.
I hope that they are an easy R&R and I hope that the passenger airbag does not have to come out. My understanding is that FORD backed these aluminum panels with 3M extreme adhesive so just yanking the aluminum off of my black plastic is not an option....
So..... Mine are perfect...... If you like shiny bright stuff on yer dash.
