I just have to undo the bellhousing and clutch off my 2.3L/t5 set up to pull it out, It doesnt look like theres a seperate inspection plate between the two so i can get in there and undo the clutch. How do i undo the clutch to pull the engine?
am i stupid or is there no inspection plate?

Not sure I understand your question?
The 5spds don't have an inspection plate like the autos do. that is to unbolt the torque convertor bolts. yes to pull a 2.3 all you do is unbolt the bolts to the bell. The clutch will slide apart from the trans without removing any bolts.

sweet, i need the engine for a ranger im buying so i gotta yank it, thinking about a turbo 4x4 ranger. Except the ranger has a 2.9 v6 in it right now, im over on ford trucks.org trying to figure out the invovlement.

check on the bellhousings the 2.9 bell may be different. Otherwise that sounds like a good project. Should be a heavy enough rotating assembly that it will create boost way early in the RPM range.
