When I bought my car, it came with this among a few other mods:

BBK under hood CAI
BBK Shorty Headers
BBK o/r X-pipe
American Thunder Catback with 40s series mufflers

I replaced the 40s mufflers with some SLP Loudmouth Resonators (Shotgun) and ohhhh boy does it sound mean! I looked around youtube and here to see if anyone else has this combination, but couldn't find anyone. I've been meaning to post up a clip but I had this nasty exhaust rattle that had eluded me for about 6 months...until today. It turns out I had some loose header to block bolts. I tightened them, and effing voila! That was the problem all along! The reason I bought the SLP resonators in the first place was because I thought my flowmaster mufflers were shot (exhaust rattles are hard to pinpoint ).

Anyway with these new resonators it has really woken up the car. It is pretty loud even at idle but not rude while driving calmly. At WOT it is the sweetest sound I have ever heard. Subarus used to be my favorite in terms of exhaust sound. Not anymore.

If anyone else has this, tell me what you think of it.

Clip coming soon.

I still don't understand how people like SLP, its a glass pack. They sound so trashy to me. Chambered mufflers FTW.

Yeah I don't like the sound of the entire catback, but this way it sounds like Flowmaster but with more of a wide open sound. I need a clip. I'll get one maybe today if I can get a decent camera with good audio.
