What is your price range? And why are you looking for an inexpensive amp to use with quality subs like JL? Match the quality of your amp with the quality of your subs. You won't be sorry. A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link, if you get my drift.

if I am correct those are 250rms. My brother has a RF 451s that is supposed to be 450 watts but the birthsheet says 499. So if it is bridged then split between the speakers he almost has 250 going to each. I am not to smart with this stuff so someone will have to check me

back in Dec he paid 140 for the sub plus an amp kit. Usually the cheaper amps are overrated

i didnt mean cheap amps just some of the not as well known amps. i know there are alot of new brands that are good but not as well advertised. im not looking for lower quality brands just less known. just tired of seeing everyone with the same brands and set up. not that its a bad thing i just like to be different. Thanks. ANDY

Look on www.ikesound.com just be forewarned, all products are new, but they are not an authorized dealer for some lines. Which means you don't get the factory warrenty, just ikesound warrenty. Never stopped me from buying from them .

Well, if you want to just quit lookin' around and go ahead and get the best(IMO) go to http://www.linearpower.com and look at their TO3 Series. You can buy direct for 40% off MSRP. They've been around and they will never compromise anything to try to appeal to the masses. Check out the Durango(ouch!) in the featured vehicles.

or everything off of this one: http://www.millionbuy.com/soudartagnan.html
just to name a few. Not a lot of people run Avionixx and Hifonics, but PPI, PG, and Soundstream, though good, are fairly popular. If you want to run something different from everybody else, TRU Technologies and Arc Audio make very nice amps, and you don't run into a lot of people running them.
