what year is your car? you'd be better stick with motorcraft coils for 99+ 4.6s, and either Motorcraft, MSD, Accel, or Screamin' demons for the 96-98

food for thought ????????????

my stang is a 99 4.6 I just never heard or saw anything made by AMT , just curious ? seems like 99 cops did have some problems & they had a black resistor mounted on the end of the spring if it went bad you lost your spark , later models had a different resistor mounted more down toward the middle I think ford saw the problem , PS I went to Ford some time ago & the parts department could not find or give me any info on the resistors I had brought 2 cops one from a Bullitt & one from a 99 GT , the parts guy spent 1 hour on the computer & even he had no answer but did say there were problems with the 99 cops ........ the cops were over $60 each at that time , I have had 2 go bad so far , one was just the resistor & one the pack just gave out , no spark , the OB tester gave the cylnder & problem its a nice tool

I got mine from brothersperformance.com, they were 44bux at the time but I think they've gone back to regular price (about 79 each)

I ordered my Accel coil packs from Jegs and they were not on backorder at the time.My old Motorcraft coil packs failed on me and I wanted to
try something different. They improve output voltage witch will translate
to a better spark, better throttle response, improved combustion witch can
possibly improve MPG,and they give you a longer arc duration too.
Plus they look cool in the engine bay.
