An Optima Battery won't fit without mod to tray?

What's needed to make the Optima Battery fit properly?

ummm...nothing?? i have one without any mods at all, fits perfectly.

I did a search. Someone posted that you need to mod the tray to make it fit correctly......That's why I asked.

ohhh, hmmm. well i just put mine in and strapped it in with that stock tie down piece, should work great.

how big of a difference is it with an optima battery? i had a couple friends suggest it before, but i forget the details. any major advantages?

umm, it cranks the motor right over for an instant start, i got it to chank my procharger more efficently for an instant start, even in the winter, and it holds more juice if your running a big stero, but i run my HID's right off the front terminal of the battery. =)

mine fit easy and its not as wide as the stock battery. the yellow top is what i got since its deep cycle and hold the charge good and holds up well with an audio system.
