Has anyone every installed them.(89 vert) I just had to fight with mine to intall them...and don't think the left side is seated all the way in.

I'm strapped for cash and didn't really have much choice but to buy them.

make sure you have them on the right side. I could be wrong but I believe they are slightly different. I went to put my engine in and couldn't get it to line up until I pulled it back out and realized tehy were slightly different.

Anyone else? is this correct?

correct, there is a drivers side and passenger side mount. take the mount off your motor and compare it to the bad one.

I've never had a problem with them. I've used them on my 68, and probably 4 times on my 90 (I change them any time the motor is out), but they always seem fine.

they are so ever slightly different. after an hour of fighting with the engine and me insisting they were both the same, my dad convinced me to look at them again. that's when I realized my mistake

The right side fit perfect...it was the left side I had trouble with.

They were a nightmare to put on my car but they do fit. I have to jack up the engine & tranny really high...then use a self racheting strape to pull the engine into place...then let the jack down. That wasn't enough though, I had to wedge the motor mount like a S-O-B as I dropped the engine for it to actually seat the little boss in the K-member hole.
You will think it is impossible but it can be down. It is a PITA>
