Anchors for side mirror screws

The side mirror on the 67-8 have anchors for the machine screws. I cannot figure out how you set them.

There is probably some tool, but I could use some guidance here.

Also, would you all use the machine screw and mount or just sheet metal screws for the passenger side mirror?

Okay. I posted too soon. I found information on riv-nuts.

I'd still like to hear thoughts on the passenger side mirror.

I doubt a sheet metal screw would last very long. Use the machine screw.
